It’s never too early to be a hero. And, after a few goes on Fire Truck Rescue - Go, your child will be clamouring to be a real-life firefighter, though perhaps may be disappointed to learn that they don’t actually rescue dinosaurs.
Fire Truck Rescue puts your child in control of a team of dinosaur firefighters, always on duty to respond to crises on (the apparently incredibly flammable) Dinosaur Island.
Your child is responsible for keeping the cute dino-residents safe, by taking the wheel of the potent fire truck and swerving around or plunging through obstacles to reach the fire.
Pick your own truck from a rainbow of options and collect water drops as you drive through Dinosaur Island so you have enough ammo to handle the flames. You and your little one(s) can also accelerate up hills and try to manoeuvre the truck over the plentiful puddles.
Once you reach the flames, the fire truck extends a ladder and your child controls the spray of the hose, which will wash through the various building floors to extinguish the small fires that have broken out everywhere.
The gameplay is based around simple taps, the graphics are bright and characterful, and the cute noises of the plaintive dinosaurs back up a bouncy soundtrack that keeps the app feeling cheerful.
