Three-dimensional cute puzzle
Cute little Ubi might look like a sentient wedge of cheese, but the eponymous hero of this fascinating puzzle adventure is capable of truly physics-defying feats.
You’ll tap to guide Ubi across a series of curious three-dimensional objects, seeking out a dazzling diamond that lets you move onto the next.
The situation looks precarious – one wrong tap and Ubi will fall to their doom – but by moving over each shape’s curved surfaces, you can pass from its top to its side, or even the underside, with the level rotating in turn so Ubi is always the right way up.
As the levels twist and pivot, you’ll tilt obstructive blocks out of your way, or use Ubi to push them into place so they can bridge small gaps. You’ll negotiate Escher-like arrangements of steps, too, not always knowing whether you’re going down or upstairs.
The stages are small but deviously intricate, though Ubi remains unflappable. Even when you make a mistake, you can simply rewind to undo it, and there are no time limits to put the pressure on. Just take your time and pick your path carefully, and that diamond will soon be yours.
There’s something quietly magical about the way Ubi is spirited away at the end of a level. As this humble hero ascends, you might well feel like you’ve reached puzzle heaven, too.
