Apple TV Screenshots

Description

A very basic app for periodic loading of images and videos from a web-server and showing them in a slideshow on the Apple TV. The images and videos have to be stored in the directory of a web-server and be named in sequence like 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg, 4.mp4 ... and so on with a maximum number of 100 images. Supported image formats are .jpg, .png and .mp4. The app accesses the web-server directly by HTTPS. Basic .htaccess authentication is supported. The app has to be configured in the Apps submenu of the settings menu of the Apple TV. The use of the app is completely at your own risk, it is provided for free, because it might be useful to someone else.

What’s New

Version 1.2

- support for videos in .mp4 format
- experimental support for wakeup- and sleep-times (screen will show black image outside the time between wakeup and sleep), the display and the Apple TV will still be on
