Easily add, view, and manage your external and network-attached devices with Bit Buddy!
Working in the creative field, you’ve likely purchased countless external drives to house your past, current, and future projects. It seems manageable at first, but before you know it there are ten of those little SSDs lying around your desk. Wouldn’t it be nice to have some electronic log of each device, its name, the files stored on it, and anything else that comes to mind? Well my creative friends, look no further than Bit Buddy!
Ideal for content creators, photographers, and filmmakers, Bit Buddy contains everything you need to accurately, quickly, and securely log your external hard drives, SSDs, computers, game consoles, and more! Everything lives on your device, so there aren’t any servers logging your data, viewing your files, or knowing anything about you. Not even us!
Available for free, Bit Buddy includes:
• A simple list view of all of your devices
• A streamlined way to add your devices
• A built-in map to show device locations
• A dedicated field for web/IP addresses
• A field to add more intricate device information
• A statistic view that shows vital device information, such as total drives, capacity, and more
• A handy sort function to better personalize your list layout
• A selection of gorgeous alternate icons and widgets
• Biometric authentication, Secure Wipe, and much more!

Version 1.3
What's poppin'? This new version of Bit Buddy brings some much-needed and requested updates to various areas of the app! Let's dive in.
New Features:
• New Widgets: Add new devices in a flash with the new Quick Add widget and view your devices with the new Devices widget! Great names, right?!
• New Icons: Sticking with the theme of every update, this version also brings three new alternate icons to choose from, Gold, Duotone Green, and Summer.
General Improvements:
• Navigation: Tips and Settings have moved! Tips can now be found at the top of Home and Settings by clicking on 'Bit Buddy' at the top of Home.
• Better Sorting: We've heard your feedback and made list sorting persist across app sessions, resulting in less of a need to click that pesky button!
• Location Editing: You can change your device's physical location when editing a drive. Sorry for the delay!
• UI Improvements: The appearance of certain elements should be better optimized to fit your screen. We also trimmed a lot of the fluff from previous versions, resulting in a much cleaner experience.
Bug Fixes:
• As with every update, we've torn up some walls and found a decent amount of bugs within. We've hired the very best exterminators to remove as much as possible, resulting in a more performant application across devices.
