App doesn’t play in the background or with screen locked.

The app can not be minimized to play in the background. It stops playing once you do this.
Even when the phone screen goes to sleep, the app stops playing and immediately resumes once the screen is unlocked. This is unsuitable as it means you have to keep tapping on the screen every few seconds to ensure that it doesn’t lock.
Please fix this.
