Generally, for one person who choose one type of exercise in one route (for example a route with only cycling) the app is more than good. On the other side, those who choose two or more types of exercises in one route (for example a route with mountain biking and hiking) there is no option but to choose one of them (for example mountain biking). I would advise the team to add a button or something in the app so the user can change the exercise type when he is recording a route. At this way users will have more accurate data for they routes. The design of the app is beautiful and easy to use.

I started using this app since 2011, at the time it was called MiCoach and it was quite perfect. After the fusion with Runtastic it all became a mess: poor graphics, average training plans, nothing to write home about. I kept using it as a data tracker cause at least, they have kept all of my progresses since the very beginning of my running career. Some time ago they have sent an email with links and instructions for saving old data in their new app version and unfortunately the procedure never worked for me. I repeatedly tried to contact them but it all lead to some non existing pages as if they were, with all due respect, the least of amateur developers. I then lost ten years of running data, nothing so vital but, I have no reason to continue using this app anymore.
Niceeee

Not a professional runner, just a hobby. The free edition offers more than I could possibly ask for. It makes the whole experience easier and actually joyable and fun. Maybe the requirements from an expert are way higher than that, but for me it worked wonders.
Disappointed loyal member

I am a premium member for more than 7 years. All of a sudden this year, desktop application was cancelled and we have zero statistics and no visibility in historical data. All competitors are improving statistics and reporting, but Runtastic went back to a very basic level. Positive is the number of trainings programs and blog information. Unfortunately if statistics and historical data do not improve, I will switch to another app, which I already started to use in parallel. You have promised it will happen soon, but nothing changed the last months.
