Fix notifications on the app icon iPhones

It’s a great app all around.Since the last 2 updates the app shows the bubble of notifications even I get and read them all (messages mostly). Even after I read all unread messages in the inbox they still show as unread leading to a massive miscommunication. Also there quite few times new messages don’t show on the app notifications. I have all notifications turned on.Please fix

Huge disappointment. I started as an experiences host in 2019 and it was the best professional year of my life. Guests from all over the world , a fair commission on the company’s part 20% and freedom for entrepreneurs. Post covid it all turned political and they forced ideas and practices on us. Either you submit or you don’t get bookings . Again I am talking about the experiences that became just exactly as having an oppressive boss at any job. Their way (for example the photo shooting they promoted, if you don’t do it you are considered lesser and they “bury” you on the search page. Meaning you get no bookings) or the no-work highway . I was so proud in what I did and had incredible feedback , most hosts copied my itinerary but Airbnb leave hosts exposed to people’s unjustified reviews by not giving them the chance to also leave a review for guests . And customer is always right according to their policy , no matter what happens their representatives always speaking in a wooden fake polite speech will do nothing to support you. Coming to present time , commission 25% (while everything is more expensive and people think twice about everything) political views forced on hosts , unfair algorithm that promotes whoever complies with their policies, no support and “power” to the hosts . Another conglomerate that started great when it was small and got greedy and careless now that they are big.
Deeply Disappointed as a Host — Airbnb No Longer Protects Us

As a long-time Airbnb host, I’m extremely disappointed with how the platform has evolved. Airbnb claims to support and protect hosts, but in reality, we are left exposed to guest manipulation and false claims. The so-called “AirCover” is heavily biased toward guests — it offers zero meaningful protection for hosts, even when there’s clear evidence of abuse or policy violations.In my case, a guest misrepresented the number of people staying, ignored house rules, made false claims, and still received a refund — all without my consent or proper investigation. Airbnb deducted it directly from my payout. As hosts, we are expected to maintain high standards and instant communication, but the same accountability is not expected from guests.Airbnb’s system makes it increasingly risky and unsustainable to host, and unless the platform takes serious steps to restore balance and fairness, I can no longer recommend it to any responsible property owner.
