And that comes from a guy who has been playing Hearthstone, Gwent etc. I do believe that this one is better.
The game might have an appeal to casual gamers but at it's core is a more enjoyable experience for hard core gamers. Especially for players that want to commit to a game and stick to it for competitive play. The dev team do an amazing job balancing the game out and bringing new game modes to spice things up , so things rarely get stale or boring.
To enjoy at its fullest you might have to spend some money, but it is worth the commitment. Right now I have been playing for 4 months I am in a good standing with several very strong decks and have spent around 50 bucks. That said I think that the normal shop is overpriced, but that surprisingly works to the games benefit. If you only buy the offers you get while progressing then you are good to go.
The biggest problem is that the legendary drops are completely random so it is extremely aggravating when getting a new legendary chest, to open one you already have. I have opened 3 Sparkys, 2 Princcesses and 2 Logs so far and those are the only legendary cards I have opened so far :-/

I’ve come to a point where I know everything about the game. From low level play up to high level play, ranking at 5000 trophies every season now. Knowing how much time is important on this game makes me put a low score for this game and let me explain why..

When my game crashes every single game giving my opponents a free 7-10 second time to attack me while I’m enjoying my app crashing is not something I can appreciate. You see.. this started a month ago and I’m pretty sure that’s when the latest update was. A bug fixing patch was it? Well a bug including one I’m going to say. I can’t enjoy a game where I keep crashing, and no.. it’s not my phone since I never had issues since launch.

I will keep *trying* to play but only because my clan needs war attendance.. As for fun? Your crashing is taking all of it away so it’s more of a obligation than a game now. 2 stars is where I’m standing.

I play this game from 2017 and it’s great, I had a lot of fun that’s for sure. As I remember from the beginning if you paid extra money to he’s some boxes to unlock cards more quickly but it was no big difference,because u could only buy boxes and u would get random cards . Nowadays u must pay for everything and it makes big difference, I have 6000 trophies I am level 11 ( I don’t play often) and I loose matches from 8-9 levels , because the have better (rarest) cards than me at higher levels which it doesn’t make sense unless they paid to get a specific card . Now u can bus a *perk* ,I don’t know how it’s called in the game , that can instantly max the cards u want to get them max level fast and u can buy better tower defences than other players . Also they added a new feature which allows you to evolve your card which makes the powerful and for someone who doesn’t pay u don’t get evolution card often so u can’t evolve your cards at all.
In conclusion it’s a great game and u can have lots of fun but if don’t want to pay and if loosing a game from someone who it’s clearly paying gets u angry then don’t try it at all u will waste your time because if u don’t pay u want win .
