EU Login 17+

I had an EU account for years, accessing it without any problems.

I am now trying to initialize the app (either logged in or logged off from the account), following EXACTLY AS MENTIONED every step… but the system keeps giving a 5305 error. No matter the solution I tried (QR/push) for the process.

It seems that our tax money end up in useless “well-related to the system” development companies that cannot even craft a SIMPLE two-way authentication system (guess what: Sending an OTP to a mobile device is light-years better and way more secure than the stupidest of solution, you are currently using).

My one-star rating can be consider as hyperbolic, considering there is no option for NO-stars to such a useless solution. Especially coming from such an organisation.

PS.1: I need to proceed to something extremely important, yet I am stuck. Who, within the EU, will pay for all my lost time and the great risk of losing my submission deadline because of this idiocy?

PS.2: The funniest part is that if you start googling “eu app er” (without the rest of the text), all of Google’s autocomplete suggestions are… “error 5305”. Good job everyone. You reached a new level of incompetence.

PS.3: I would’t be so harsh if it was a company’s app. But here, we are talking about an institutional organization that is prohibiting its citizens from accessing vital information. Speechless.

Worst app ever. After this “security” update, my account is so secure even I cannot enter it💀

I remember the password but I still can’t authenticate it. The app doesn’t do anything if you’re not already connected, which is so stupid when all you need it for is to connect.

You have to accept push notifications or else you can’t scan.
