Great app so far I have used it to book a few trips and it’s great for keeping track of the ferry, smooth buying of tickets + e tickets and support. No issues so far. Just a smooth and nice experience

The worst customer service I have ever experienced, avoid using Ferryhopper! February 2022 i apply for money refund on Covid vouchers which is accepted some days later as the vouchers are active for more than 18 months. After that I do not get an answer until May 25th when they inform me I will get a refund in some days. 1 month later (end of June 2022) I talk with an agent who tells me that there is a delay because of the travel agent that issued the tickets! Some days after, I receive an email that says that the refund will delay further because the ship company delays the compensations! To cut the long story short, it has been 5 (FIVE) months since the refund was accepted and Ferryhopper still gives me false and various excuses instead of my money back, that I paid to them more than 2 years ago!

Update: August 3rd the refund completed after 5 months waiting and an 1 star review

We have tried reaching out to you from the rest platforms you've left a review as well, as we want to proceed to a further investigation, but if we don't get a reply from you, we cannot find the booking to do so.

It's true that it's a good app if you need to book tickets. But once you need to cancel or adjust your booking, you truly are in BIG trouble. The support is so bad, even AI is better nowadays than their service. I cancelled a ferry booking and was told I would get a 50% refund minus 6€ for their service which is bizarre since their service is poor. Anyway, they said I'll get my refund within 2-7 business days. Guess what? Just like the others, it has been pass that and they are not replying on how disappointed I am for the delay. They don't care.

We're really sorry to hear about your frustration with the process and the delay in receiving the refund. Please note that the cancellation fee is calculated and set at the lowest affordable level to cover banking and administrative costs charged to us for every cancellation. The refundable percentage is set directly by the policy of the respective ferry company.

When the refundable amount is released by Ferryhopper, it then indeed takes a few business days for it to appear in the customer's bank account, but this always depends on the bank. We genuinely care for each and every passenger, and we would also encourage you to contact your card issuer.
