wow this update is much better than before,
I hated that "connection failed" every time I opened the app to change my lights.
The default color wheel with immediate feedback of the lights changing is great!
Thanks for shipping a better experience. I just wish there were less loading spinners everywhere, my device is literally next to me and it takes very little time to update anyways, the constant spinners are noisy more than helpful.

Oh my! This app has so many options, so badly designed… it’s a nightmare. It looks like it has been designed by a committee.
Don’t get me wrong, I like the device, the actual device, the hardware. It is good, very good. What I hate is the software. Badly designed software makes you feel stupid and this app makes me feel 100% stupid. There are way too many options, most of them are completely irrelevant and they could easily be left out. There are options overlapping. There is mediocre information architecture and it is difficult to find what you are looking for. For this app everything is important. And if everything is important then nothing is important. I’m not talking about style, colors, typography, I’m talking about the core of design, the user experience. At the same time colors, typography, layouts, gradients etc are badly designed as well. For example most of the text is written in very very small text size. All in all this app makes the hardware feel cheap.
Last but not least: it is not compatible with Apple HomeKit.
Very good app but please
It’s a very good app. Although I think it’s essential to have few controls at the home page and tab of its light like timer *sleeping for example and few preset color themes. If I want to put the sleeping timer on, I have to go to the tab of its lamp then go to the timer and then switch sleeping mode on, and I have to do it for each lamp.
Or you could have a widget for custom control preset.
