Description
It’s easy with the IKEA Home smart 1 app and TRÅDFRI gateway. Use one setting for early morning lighting and music, another for late evenings and a third for cooking or working at home.
You can dim, turn off, turn on, change colours and switch from warm to cold light. Raise or lower blinds. Turn on your music – then turn it up, turn it down or pause it. And you can even control your air purifier to improve the air quality at home.
With the IKEA Home smart 1 app, you can also connect to Apple Home, Amazon Alexa or Google Home and control it all with your voice.
What you’ll get with the IKEA Home smart 1 app and TRÅDFRI gateway:

• Customisable settings, including changing the position of blinds, light colours and choosing warm or cold light

Power cut and then as soon as the power back all the lights come on
It could be like, if power is cut (gateway will be disconnected) lights would not turn on until they connect to the gate and read their last status.
There can be an action (turn off and on two times in 2 seconds or sth like that) to remove that limitation so it switches to manual control. In case there is an issue with connection, or user needs to turn the light on without waiting for the bridge to connect to the network, because router will also need to be up in that case, which might take even longer than the bridge itself.
And if lights are turned off/on via the switch on the wall when there is no powercut (gateway will be connected in this case) it would just turn on the light. That would really be great.
Though i'm still ok with just a notification, because coding above scenarios will be too complex and will not satisfy everyone's needs anyway :)
Timers might be a good idea for a vacation or such stuff, but that would not solve the issue for waking up blinded in the night which is not a big issue for me. It only happened twice since I switched to Tradfri, 3 months ago. But that might be crucial for people living in places where power cuts happen a lot more.
No functionality over mobile data
The app works only if the user is on the same Wi-Fi with the tradfri gateway. When at home one can easily use the remote controllers, instead of the app.
Need to add functionality over mobile data connection or a different Wi-Fi.
Connectivity with gateway
Most of the times the connection between the app and the gateway is not available.
