Inspired by the military theory of Carl von Clausewitz and the European war campaigns of Napoleon, Kriegspiel is a chess-variant played by two opposing players on a 20 x 25 game board. Capture the enemy's Arsenals to win. Deploy your Lines of Communication to keep friendly units in contact. Block enemy lines for strategic advantage.
"The surprises of this Kriegspiel seem to be inexhaustible," wrote French Situationist Guy Debord. In Debord's view the game represents the totality of factors at play in wartime maneuvers, what he called "the dialectic of all conflicts."

Good idea(If it is improved it will be a very good game)
First of all nice simple UI, as an one man project you did a great job because it has nice enough graphics yet simple so there is no chaos and still able to be done by one developer.
As for the game liked the scenario. As for the pieces i don't know if swift cannon should exist.(two moves are a bit two much) I liked very much the communication system.
The main problem of the game is that you cannot play it with anyone online, because of little playerbase. You can play against the computer but the AI is sadly bad.
I would like to see the AI get improved as a first thing and secondly maybe add something like scenarios/campaign where you play against the AI in napoleonic wars.
Thirdly add more terrain(eg forest, blocks communication from outside reduces movement by one) and units(eg officer communication range increased by one moves like a soldier).
All in all nice game that i would like to see get its full potential.
