Ratings and Reviews
Four stars because no push notifications
It is a basic Mail app. For me, that has iCloud as a primary email and have not used any other Mail apps, it is’t bad at all. I just want to send and receive mails, have some custom folders to put some emails there, flag an email here and there, that’s all. And it does all that great.
But if you have other email servers like Gmail or Yahoo!, this app does not support push notifications for those servers (Hotmail supports them for some reason). So new emails are gonna arrive to you at least 15 mins after they have sent, depending on your fetch setting.
Also, apart from the fact that I don’t need them, I know other apps have features like automatic filtering for mails and putting them to different categories etc, and that app don’t have any of those features as well.
It isn’t a bad app, but it can be better.
Mail account
Since 3 days the mail can not show me the new emails from hotmail. It asks always the password and even I type the correct, it asks it again and again…My hotmail it works in the same old way in my PC.
Unacceptable app
You had 1 job: when I click “send” you just have to (you guessed it) send the email!!! Is that so hard? If you can’t do it, let us know so we can find another more decent app.
I’m fed up with my outgoing emails constantly not being sent. Instead they go to a limbo state and lost forever and I have to rewrite them from memory.
At least it can receive mails (hence the 2 stars instead of 1). Highly unrecommended app.
