I can see all my miles and everything I would like to do with Star Alliance. Great app

Why does a Cardinal Commerce page open when I enter my credit card details?

While trying to book an award flight and just as I entered my credit card details, a pop up blank page from „Cardinal Commerce“ opened, and I had to press „Done“ to continue with my booking. I obviously DID NOT enter my credit card details any further. Please explain why this happened, and if this is some kind of security page controlling credit card details, the pop up page should at least provide an explanation! Outrageous!

I have used other airline apps but this is the best I have seen so far.
