I never expected to get this frustrated with my experience from an application. Ever since I got my iPhone I have been trying to activate the app but this seems to have turned into a nightmare.The app is keep asking for my pin but once I put that it keeps saying it is wrong although I changed it more than once in my efforts to bypass this glitchI got so frustrated that I contacted the support Center but they could not provide me any solution and just kept saying to change my pin and try again but to be careful or else it would be locked (well newsflash: I already know that) so eventually I decided to deactivate permanently my account but they said that for that they need some documentation to prove who I am (reasonably) Although I provided that my account is still active (as I am able to open the app on my old androids device and still get notifications)So I really don’t understand why the deactivation has not proceeded after 2 working days?!And all this unreasonable and bad customer experience while viber now has a wallet and can handle money. That is troublesome.

This feature is crucial for my communication, and its absence prevents me from using the app effectively.2.Video Playback Issues: Additionally, the app does not play videos when VoiceOver is in use. This issue further limits my ability to communicate and receive information through the app.3.Overall Lack of Accessibility Support: The overall experience of using the app with VoiceOver is disappointing, with many buttons and options not being properly accessible or recognized by VoiceOver. Conclusion:While Viber is a popular and otherwise reliable communication app, its accessibility shortcomings make it difficult or impossible for visually impaired users to use. I would like to see improvements in VoiceOver support so that I can use the app like any other user. I hope the Viber team will take the needs of users with disabilities seriously and make the necessary corrections.

I’m a security and privacy first technologist and while I consider Signal to be my go-to solution, Viber is, I believe, nearly as secure and private while also being far more fun and easy to use to use. Most of the people I know are on Viber. While apps like messenger and WhatsApp are more popular (though IMO not as good) I feel far less confident using them as I’m pretty sure there is some algorithm combing through everything I write. But even if we ignore the privacy aspect, Viber shows that it’s a labor of love - just send “happy birthday” to your friends for a small example. Viber, keep up the good work!
