Version 1.1 improved
Seismometer used to be too sensitive, but the newer version (1.1) has some settings that can be adjusted (e.g. enable the high-pass filter) so that the device shows a straight line when you have the iPhone lying down. If you lie down and place it on your chest, you can see that it tracks your heartbeat!
