Description

Signal is a messaging app with privacy at its core. It is free and easy to use, with strong end-to-end encryption that keeps your communication completely private.

• Send texts, voice messages, photos, videos, GIFs, and files for free. Signal uses your phone’s data connection, so you avoid SMS and MMS fees.

• Call your friends with crystal-clear encrypted voice and video calls. Group calls supported for up to 40 people.

• Stay connected with group chats up to 1,000 people. Control who can post and manage group members with admin permission settings.

• Share image, text, and video Stories that disappear after 24 hours. Privacy settings keep you in charge of exactly who can see each Story.

• Signal is built for your privacy. We know nothing about you or who you’re talking to. Our open source Signal Protocol means that we can’t read your messages or listen to your calls. Neither can anyone else. No back doors, no data collection, no compromises.

• Signal is independent and not for profit; a different kind of tech from a different kind of organization. As a 501c3 nonprofit we are supported by your donations, not by advertisers or investors.

What’s New

Version 7.11

• Now you can react with any emoji during a Signal call. Smile even if your camera is off, share a heart if you love what you're hearing, or vote for sushi instead of pizza without saying a word. And you'll even see an animation of everyone's emojional outburst if enough people in the call react with the same emoji all at once.

Why isn’t everyone using this?!?

I’m using this app for years, personally, i think is the best one out there. You have your privacy, no one is collecting your data, it’s user friendly and easy to use, it has much more to offer than other instant messaging apps!

Best messaging app by far

There is literally no contest. Most private conscious solution. Completely free, all the capabilities featured in all messaging apps are included in signal, but better. Even the stickers are encrypted! Much love to the people behind the app. If there is an app worth donating to, it is signal!

Troubleshoot

I uninstalled the app from my iPhone 12pro max and transferred chat history to another iPhone I have 6s now that I want to switch back to my iPhone 12 Pro Max when I downloaded the app I launched the app and it took me directly to “edit my profile” to write my name last name and save it, when I press save the response was “Error Invalid response from server.” I uninstalled the app and install it many times but the problem still remains, I sent email to signal support but NO ANSWER whatsoever…. Disappointing
