Description
The Draugr, reanimated dead imbued with magical powers, have come to the region of Trøndelag seeking to corrupt the town of Stjørdal. Only you, a lone revenant hunter, can protect the town and slay they who walk again.
Armed with limited supply of holy water and iron spikes you enter the town square and prepare for the coming onslaught.
Todd Sanders’ "dreadful" game pits you against any combination of the original 6 Draugr plus the 3 "expansion" Draugr. Optional rules add extra levels of difficulties, and a haunting soundtrack creates a completely immersive experience.

Atmospheric solo board game
A small solo game that packs in a lot of thrills and suspense into a small ruleset. I love the atmosphere and the aesthetic, as well as the eerie music. The gameplay reminded me a bit of Pandemic Cthulhu, Forbidden Island and also Ultimate Werewolf Inquisition. In this one you try to stop an infestation of undead and their disease-like powers. You move between town locations and citizens for their actions while all the while the board shrinks and your actions and options drain away from you. The goal is to slay four of the six undead monsters, which seems hard based on my first five or six attempts. A great game well worth the small asking price.
