The Witness is a single-player game in an open world with dozens of locations to explore and over 500 puzzles. This game respects you as an intelligent player and it treats your time as precious. There's no filler; each of those puzzles brings its own new idea into the mix. So, this is a game full of ideas.

Not even close to 500+ claimed puzzles. There are 10 puzzles repeated 50 or even more times.
Generally, it resembles Myst (without photorealistic gfx) but without the creativity of the puzzles there. If your aim is to become an expert in line drawing, then buy this game.
if you expect another The Room like game, then this is not for you.
Τεράστιο, μοναδικό, πολύ-πολύ εκνευριστικό αλλά μαγικό
Το The Witness είναι μοναδικό και αν το δεις μόνο επιφανειακά (δηλαδή σαν ένα νησί με 500+ φαινομενικά παρόμοια puzzles), τότε χάνεις όλη την ουσία. Το The Witness είναι μία εμπειρία που απαιτεί να την απορροφήσεις με αργούς ρυθμούς ώστε σιγά-σιγά να ξεκλειδώσεις τα μυστικά του και την ιστορία του. Η λέξη κλειδί είναι υπομονή, χωρίς αυτή δεν θα προχωρήσετε καθόλου μιας και αφενός πολλοί γρίφοι είναι απίθανα δύσκολοι και αφετέρου τα πάντα στο νησί κινούνται αργά, δίνοντας χώρο και χρόνο στο μυαλό σου για να αφομοιώσεις το τι-συμβαίνει.
Απαιτεί πολύ από τον χρόνο σου και αν του δώσεις μία ευκαιρία τουλάχιστον 4-5 ωρών, είναι σίγουρο ότι θα κολλήσεις μέχρι τέλους. Το τέλος αυτό θα έρθει πολύ-πολύ αργότερα, ίσως και ποτέ. Για το "βασικό" τελείωμα μπορεί να χρειαστείς ακόμα και 100 ώρες gameplay, ενώ για να δεις (σχεδόν) ό,τι έχει να προσφέρει αυτό το νησί, μπορεί να χρειαστείς άλλες τόσες. Είναι στο χέρι του κάθε χρήστη για το πόσο χρόνο θα αφιερώσει στο νησί, μιας και υπάρχουν εκεί πάντα νέα πράγματα να ανακαλύψεις. Μην σας αποθαρρύνει η τιμή, γιατί το Witness θα σας προσφέρει ατέλειωτες ώρες gameplay, εκνευρισμού και... εσωτερικής αναζήτησης.
