Best service for someone who appreciates music.
I have been using tidal for some time now, and it truly is amazing. The service is reasonably priced for what it offers, a higher percentage of your money actually ends up to the artists, and the audio experience is simply amazing.
As for the app itself, it’s functioning as it should. The completely dark look is beautiful imo. It’s updated frequently so issues are quickly resolved.
The one thing I want from the app (as I write this from an iPad) is to be more tablet friendly, meaning taking advantage of the bigger screen to show more stuff. For example the “Playing from” screen can be a miniature version of the desktop counterpart, and the menus can show more options for each song than the three dot menu.
For music lovers
I use Tidal the last few years. Huge music selection from all music genres. Nice collections and proposals for all tastes I was surprised by the Greek music titles from all decades I found Most probably all the files from established Greek record companies of the past are hosted here . As for music quality I am entirely satisfied since my high end music set up allows no mistakes . Although I have a vinyl record collection which I occasionally upgrade I find Tidal easy to use with min compromise to sound in specific recordings. Well done guys
Lots and lots of cached data
Everything is working fine and especially the Hifi option delivers excellent sound. There is one serious problem though. The app is taking too much space on iPhone and iPad , probably caching data all the time. You must implement an option for the user to quickly delete all this cached stuff.
