Want to use practical connectivity features in your Volkswagen*, but don’t have We Connect or Car-Net in your vehicle? No problem. Together with our DataPlug**, the ‘We Connect Go’ app connects you instantly with your new vehicle or model from 2008 onwards. That’s plug and play connectivity from Volkswagen.

An overview of the benefits for you:
- Display various vehicle data, warning symbols and upcoming service intervals
- Volkswagen authorised workshops, appointment scheduling and navigation are just a click away
- Greater safety in an emergency thanks to direct contact with the national 24-hour breakdown service or the Volkswagen service hotline
- Digital tools such as a fuel monitor or electronic logbook with automatic recording and export function
- Drive more efficiently and save fuel with statistics, driving style analysis and challenges

Download the free app, simply insert the DataPlug into your vehicle’s diagnostic connection, register in the app and connect your smartphone to your Volkswagen via Bluetooth.

Problems with Fuel monitor edit

After the latest update there is problem occured when trying to record a refuel stop.
We are not able to put price per liter with decimal places or the number of liters with decimals also.
Also once you put the liters then you can’t delete to correct if you make a mistake. You have to discart and start over.

Battery Usage

After upgrading to latest ios the app constantly uses background location services even though I don't use the car.
For example I'm in the metro and the app records my location.
Eveb though it's nice to check yours trips but your really need to solve that. Had to change to only use when app is open

Battery usage

I personally drive the car 3-4 days per week but the application drains the battery on my phone. The “always “ use of location data is the reason for that, but it shouldn’t.
