VSCO: Photo & Video Editor

Edit with AI Filters & Effects

View

VSCO helps to make any photo really pop. There’s more to the app than its excellent collection of photo and video editing tools though: it’s home to an active community of photography enthusiasts and pros sharing their best snaps – and you can join them.

What we love: The stunning presets (there are more than 200 of them). We particularly love the portrait, urban and AL (artificial light) filters; for example AL3 can make fluorescent lighting less draining, while AL4 can exaggerate it to make scenes look distinctly eerie. The film filters are also really accurate and effective.

Once you get your settings just right, save and re-use them on your next picture.

Quick tip: One of our favourite VSCO features is Recipes. When you’ve edited a photograph and got it just-so, save the edits as a Recipe that you can apply to other photos. Save one recipe on the free plan, or as many as you like when you subscribe.

Meet the creator: Joel Flory and Greg Lutze created VSCO Cam, later renamed as VSCO, in 2011 to do two things: give photographers high-quality filters and editing tools, and create an online community for creative pros. The plan seems to be working – VSCO now has more than 100 million registered users.
