Love Pokémon? Play these games

If you’re partial to Pikachu and enraptured by Eevee, then we’ve got something for just for you in the great games below.

Pokémon GO

If you’re into Pokémon and you’ve not played Pokémon GO already then, please, rectify that immediately.

It teleports the Pokémon you know and love into the real world, using your location and augmented reality so you can catch them. Brilliant.

Catch and train Pokémon.

Pokémon Unite

Calling all trainers! In Pokémon Unite, teams of five take part in thrilling battles with – and against – your favourite critters.

Blending classic Pokémon tactics with up-tempo strategy, it’s a fast-paced evolution of the popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) genre.

Pokémon Café ReMix

You’re the boss of your very own Pokémon café in this gentle puzzler. Just drag your finger across the screen to link together as many Pokémon as possible to cook up a storm.

Each level you complete represents a new meal learned, and every tasty treat you cook up builds your friendship with familiar folks like Pikachu and Charmander.

Pokémon Masters EX

If you’re all about battling, then this one’s for you. Pokémon Masters EX focuses on the trainers as much as the famous collectible critters.

You’ll need to put together a crew of your favourite trainers from franchise history – such as classic characters Brock and Misty – to take on the world in 3v3 tournaments.

Battles in Pokémon Masters EX are 3v3 rumbles where strategy is key.

Pokémon Quest

On Tumblecube Island, Pokémon have been chunked up and cubified (it’s a real word, we checked) and there are gangs of them roaming the island looking for a fight.

Pokémon Quest isn’t as brutal as it sounds. It’s a fun, battle-based adventure game in which you guide your Pokémon around triggering special attacks to take down other Pokémon. Nice!

Guide your squad to victory against wild Pokémon on Tumblecube Island.

Pokémon: Magikarp Jump

Now for something completely different. Pokémon: Magikarp Jump is about cultivating a champion Magikarp in the noble sport of jumping as high as you can.

Hook a Magikarp in, train it up and add trinkets and features to your pool before sending it out to compete. You’ll grow fond of your flappy little friend, and there’s surprising poignancy when you have to retire one.
