HOW DOES ARTICULATION ARCADE WORK?

1) Choose an articulation game or the Flashcards activity
2) Select the sound or sounds that you wish to practice
3) Choose the position of the sound e.g., initial, medial, or final position in words

Articulation Arcade has 5 articulation games and a Flashcards activity. When the child takes their turn in a game, a pop-up flashcard displaying the picture appears, and the child can say their target word once or multiple times. They can also practice at phrase or sentence level. Spoken productions can be scored as correct, approximately correct, or incorrect.

WHAT ARTICULATION GAMES ARE IN ARTICULATION ARCADE?

The 5 articulation games in the app are as follows:

Four in a Row: Get four counters in a row to win the game

Matching: Find all the matching pairs in this exciting matching game

Bingo: Listen to the target word, find the correct bingo card, and stamp it

Spin the Wheel: Have fun spinning the wheel and landing on the pictures

Scratchcards: Gradually reveal the Flashcard behind by scratching the card

Articulation Arcade also includes a separate Flashcards activity, that offers word, phrase, and sentence level practice.
