Medium hates its writers
It what world is it logical to remove story writing/editing from mobile devices? And if the idea was to make the reading experience more “consistent”, why also remove it from the iPad app, A DEVICE USED BY THOUSANDS TO BE PRODUCTIVE AND CREATIVE. I guess you expect us to have our laptop just hanging around all the time.

I’m a newby to Medium.
Wish I’d stumbled onto Medium when it first appeared. I’m a writer. Medium, it could be said is much like a jewel of an oasis in the middle of a dessert. It is a place for your writing...
Right now I’m just barely starting to understand Mediums offerings. There’s a rather steep learning curve that needs climbing before making progress as a writer. Sure you can publish the first day you discover Medium, but then there are degrees of growth potential available to you with some very serious effort.
Of course the stuff to read is mountainous and the subjects available are deliciously endless. Getting involved as a reader and a ‘responder’ and uh a clapper or one who rates via a counted applause system is the most fun you’ll have in a long time.
Take an exploratory visit.
Hope you enjoy it as I have; and I’m just getting to understand Medium.
