Description

This app measures and displays a list of how much time has passed since the registered date and time.

Have you ever suddenly thought, "Wait, how many days has it been since I started dating that person?"

Perhaps you've even asked them directly, which might have led to an argument.

Think back to that significant "day." Was it the day you met someone special? Or perhaps your wedding day? Maybe it was the first time you traveled abroad. Or maybe...

How many "days" have passed since you were born? Since you met that important person or encountered a life-changing work of art?

"ANOHIKARA" (which means "since that day" in Japanese) is an app that visualizes the connection between these meaningful "days" for you.

A Message from the Developer:

One of the standout features of "ANOHIKARA" is the ability to display the elapsed time in units of "months," "weeks," "days," "hours," "minutes," and "seconds."

You might think that "minutes" or "seconds" are too fine-grained for practical use.

However, it's precisely this feature that represents my unwavering commitment to "ANOHIKARA."

From a young age, I've been fascinated by "time."

While I'm not particularly interested in the (instrumental) concept of time, such as "I need to do X by this date and time" or "Let's meet at Y time," I am captivated by the distant past—far beyond our everyday experiences. Concepts like "the universe has existed for 13.7 billion years" or "dinosaurs went extinct 66 million years ago" evoke an indescribable mix of awe, excitement, and romance. These time spans, seemingly beyond our grasp, are still connected to our present moment, accumulating through countless "minutes" and "seconds."

Personal memories also exist within this flow of time. Due to my congenital hearing loss, I grew up in a world where I could hardly hear what people were saying or understand their words directed at me.

One day during elementary school, a neighbor asked if we could take in a cat because they couldn't bring it to their new home. Our family agreed, and I became utterly captivated. Initially terrified in the new environment, she gradually opened her heart to me, and we built a bond of trust. We communicated without words, deepening our relationship. For me, this was a miraculous experience, considering my struggle with verbal communication.

... That day when I met her, now gone. The day of heart-wrenching separation. And the day I decided to draw the long-lost her from my distant past...

"ANOHIKARA" visualizes these significant connections between events and the present moment.

For those of you intrigued by "ANOHIKARA," what is your cherished "day"? How much time has passed since that day?

Immerse yourself in "ANOHIKARA" and explore that time.
