Find the cheapest petrol and diesel prices around your location, and throughout the UK. Using data submitted to UKGov by the fuel companies themselves Fossil Fuel is super-privacy focused, there's no tracking of you or your data, and no sign up required! Your location data never leaves your device! Work out whether it's worth going out of your way to save a few pence. No adverts too!

Fossil offers 20 price updates for free, and then requires a subscription. The six-monthly subscription comes with a one month free trial.
The subscription allows you to set a favourite fuel station so you can make direct comparisons in cost and distance. It also allows you to compare routes on the map. You can also input vehicle details to get approximated costs in petrol for a journey and the approximate cost of a full tank of fuel.

Making life better for motorists!

Fixed a bug where the vehicle name was not being correctly saved. Added deep-linking into the app. (You can open the app from a web browser using 'fossilfuel:// '. Fixed a pesky spelling mistake. Please let me know if you find any more!
Added an option to choose whether to always show the route to your faourite fuel station or destination.The speedometer can always be accessed regardless of whether you have a destination selected or not. Some improvements to the purchase flow, and a couple of background improvements to battery life and performance. A tiny little bug fix to enable promoted purchases..
