Learn about God’s word in bite-sized interactive way
It’s the best app for me to learn about God’s word in small bite-sized portions. Very encouraging to read and especially listen to interpretations of the verse of the day, like a mini sermon that’s 1 or 2 minutes long max! It’s easy to search any bible translations, has interactive learning for kids and the whole family. I love the bible plans feature for when I want to dig deeper into certain concerns I have. I especially love the embedded journaling and streak feature that helps me monitor my daily goals to read God’s word. Most unique experience of the YouVersion app is my access to video explanations of the Bible through biblical movies or clips, all for free!
If you’re new
If you want to know who God is. If you want to know who Jesus is, get the app and start reading. Just read. Start with the Gospels (John, mark, Luke and Matthew). Read one chapter each day. If you can’t, read until you are no longer paying attention, each day. If you’re confused, ask him to help you. I promise you he will. If you have questions, know that its ok to have questions, ask, you will get your answers. You’ve got this, God bless you <3.
At hand’s reach
I have used the Bible App for over a year and found it to be a quick, convenient way for me to centre myself. The daily reminders to engage in prayer are a thoughtful way to place God at the forefront of the day’s activities. I would recommend this App to anyone who wants to be more in step with their prayer goals but find themselves distracted and busy.
