LEARN ABOUT THE IMPRESSIVE COLLECTION OF PUBLIC ART IN LA PAZ
The streets of La Paz exhibit a significant collection of public art — sculptures, murals, and monuments. This app gives you information about the artists, history, and location of SEVENTY of these works, in an easy-to-access format. Many more works are out there, but this app is focused on the area in and around downtown.
EXPLORE BY MAP
The app organizes the art in several ways. A map of the city shows what art is close to you and gives you a summary of each piece, with directions to the art itself. You can also navigate by list of artwork.
TITLE, ARTIST, HISTORY, AND TRIVIA
In many cases, the artworks lack attribution and title. This app identifies each artist and gives you the title of the work, and often adds some historic, unique, or little-known background. It will also help you to find and compare other works by the same artist.
A WINDOW INTO LA PAZ AND ITS CULTURE
The app provides you with pieces of knowledge that we hope will open windows into the culture and history of La Paz, Baja California Sur, and Mexico.
