GAME OF THE DAY

No dragons, just dungeons

Develop top tower defence tactics with Dungeon Warfare II.

Dungeon Warfare 2

Defend your dungeons!

View

Taking everything we loved about its predecessor and expanding on it, Dungeon Warfare II is all you could want in a tower defence game and then some.

Stuffed with more traps than you can shake a sword at, this tense, real-time strategy adventure is easy to play, but devilishly difficult to master.

To keep the rowdy masses from infiltrating the depths of your dungeon, you must select from a comprehensive collection of traps and contraptions.

To help you keep these ne’er-do-wells at bay there’s a selection of harpoons, spikes and barricades – not to mention further boosts and passive abilities available through your skill trees.

Success in Dungeon Warfare 2 boils down to refining your strategy. And spikes.

Equipping yourself with all manner of weapons will only get you so far though. You’ll soon learn that tailoring your approach according to the specifications of each level is key to progressing.

Each victory brings additional spoils, enabling you to carefully refine your strategy as you battle those foes across more than 60 levels – each one boasting its own unique design and environmental hazards.

With more traps, enemies and levels than the original game, you can even take on a never-ending horde in the endless mode, and mix and match runes to fine-tune the challenge in your favourite levels.

Who needs dragons when you have dungeons like these, eh?
