香港基本法有多達四百三十題題目，有助應付基本法測試。
香港和澳門是中華人民共和國的特別行政區，兩地的政治體制與中華人民共和國本土有所不同，因此在憲法之下制定基本法以實施高度自治。
投考政府公務員的「綜合招聘考試」合共有三份試卷，包括中文運用、英語運用及能力傾向測試。
除了中文運用、英文運用及能力傾向測試外，綜合招聘考試亦設有基本法測試，其成績會被用作評核申請者整體表現的其中一個因素。
