Just so you know: the problem still exists and has not gone away. Your proposed solution did not work.

Super user-unfriendly

I seldom comment on Apps but since I’m a frequent shopper of the contents, I am compelled to express my thoughts (at least I still hope for improvements on this app). I’ve found several aspects where the app designer, or whoever is behind the app design, should definitely improve.

1. Reading with constant interruption is extremely annoying given your intrusive ways of displaying ads.
2. There is no way of streaming so contents downloaded have squeezed up my storage and I have to uninstall the app and reinstall it.
3. Gestures on the app are rather unintuitive as I always have to stretch my hand to tap on the “return” button lodged at the far left upper corner.

This is my first time to comment app but ...

I like hkej very much compared with other press in Hong Kong.
The 1-star is purely given to the app itself and advertisement pop up, not about the content.

Is it really necessary to pop up the same ad so frequently? Every time I go back the main page after read the news then ad pop up. Do you think I click into the ad because the ad pop up many time? If I am the target customer of that ad, then I am willing to access the ad like car show event etc.
It is not the way to sell ad.
