is it a volleyball game?

i feel like playing volleyball game for a year.
The game design just encourages people to play 10 defenders with higher response in the field. They can keep the possession all day long until passing into the box for a header.
It makes this game being boring.

They made way better advertisement than games!

AI was pointless, you dun have actual control over the gameplay, not even when to take a shot!
Striker won’t jump for header, will take very long shot even if they can go for a solo drive, or even back pass when they are 1-on-1.
Defender won’t tackle until you ask them to slide, and they did that right behind your opponent so you lose a penalty kick. Oh they would also forget to turn around to chase the ball!
Midfielder? They are pretty okay except they won’t get close to the ball until you ask them to (and wait for approx 2s to activate he “sliding” cursor).
If you win the match, it was only because the AI made less stupid mistake than your opponent, nothing to celebrate on.

Good game

Sometimes tackling may seem random and rebounds unlucky, but to get to the high levels it is actually possible to understand player roles and make your team work.

Very representative of real-life game stakes as well, and the new leaping feature (automatic) adds an interesting new dimension to the timing of the game.

One feature I'd really like to see implemented is the possibility of connecting with friends and playing directly against them. Thsi would definitely increase the appeal of the game.
