The Barbados Government Information Service’s Alert App is the Government of Barbados’ official messaging system. The BGIS Alert App issues critical information you need to know urgently.
This innovative alerting system sends you the most important Government information. No need to question the validity of the source, with the BGIS Alert App, you know the information you receive is reliable because it comes straight from us, the Barbados Government Information Service.
The BGIS Alert App also allows you to choose which alerts you want to receive. There are five categories: Closures, Events, School Updates, Traffic and Weather. It's up to you; design the alerts the way you want. Signing up is quick and easy. A Setup Wizard helps you once you download the app to your phone and instantly, you’re on the information highway.
