Description

Catch the Cow helps children and adults with physical disabilities, to learn to select pictures using a scanning device or by direct selection.

Catch the Cow helps children and adults with physical disabilities, to learn to select pictures using a scanning device.

It allows teachers, clinicians or parents to assess whether a user can learn beginning skills for choice making through auto scanning. Direct touch can also be used and accuracy of the two modes can be compared. Initially the user selects one of two squares. Then the level of difficulty gradually increases to select a picture from multiple rows and columns.

Catch the Cow provides a large on-screen button for selection as shown. An option is provided to use it with an external switch that is compatible with the Apple Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard. The space, enter, ~, 1, 2, 3 or 4 key equivalents can be used to select.

Compatible Bluetooth controllers and switches are available from RJ Cooper & Asoociates Inc. and Ablenet Inc.
