The next generation of NAVBLUE Charts+ is here. Influenced by Pilots for use in the cockpit, the redesigned Charts+ interface improves on the user experience. NAVBLUE Charts+ gives pilots the ability:
- To have a worldwide enroute map with polar route capacities,
- To have a terminal charts viewer with sketches,
- To have a document viewer to read Charts+ Guide and as well as your airline documentation with a search engine.
- A clipboard and bookmark function for charts and document.

This new version provides Enroute Charts directly on your iPad turning it into a powerful Electronic Flight Bag.

Note: you MUST have a valid NAVBLUE Charts subscription to activate new aerodrome coverage or update your charts. Currently NAVBLUE Charts+ is targeted at NAVBLUE commercial airline customers.

The enroute section is appalling...

The enroute section is appalling. This part of the software is obviously not ready. When zooming the fonts are zooming as well. This makes the waypoints unreadable under certain zoom. The map uses the internal compass of the iPad so every time you rotate the unit the map is turning and there is no option for a north up or GPS heading! Double beacon tag, one for high and one for low altitude airways which bans displaying the VOR tag etc... Overflying an enroute diversion airport and the system pointing to other airports except the closest one. Fix range selection needs enhancement 200 nm represents 100 nm in front. It is not enough. If the intend is to replace a navigation chart zoom should be available up to 3 hours or 2400 nm with relevant waypoints and airports... No search engine to find a waypoint is available. Etc etc... I would not even call this an Alpha release!!!
