Definition of fun learning

I’ve been looking for an interactive fun Mandarin app for a long time. Just downloaded it and so far am impressed with the amount of detail and content it has. Can’t wait to play more!

Some Characters are to small - difficult to read

After working for many years in China I picked up Mandarin and can speak more or less fluent but did not learn to read or write Chinese characters.
I got the app for my grandson to support and encourage him to learn Chinese. He challenged me and I got it too. So we are in a competition now over far distance.
We both enjoy the app and make progress.
My only complaint is that some characters are just to small and difficult to read (e.g. when you have to select the correct one out of four).
It would be nice to have an option to save some characters to personal flash cards for later selftest.
After all it‘s a very nice and usefully app not only for kids but also for „for ever young“ adults 🙂

Regarding your suggestion, we are working on optimizing the app for the iPad version, which will improve readability.

As for the personalized quizzes, we suggest:
1) Save the characters/words you want to quiz for later by clicking the 'heart' icon in the top right corner
2) Go to the Quiz tab and select the section 'Favorites' where you can quiz all the words you've saved

The Best App for Learning Chinese

Its easily the best app I have used to learn Chinese. I am learning Cantonese though, so only use it to learn to read. I would therefore appreciate a function that allowed me to bypass the focus on correct tones etc. Other than that, I am a big fan!
