Good but not good enough

Associating new vocab with pictures is a great idea and the full explanation of words is awsome as well. It is worth download. Yet, I think the usage of a word is more important than the word itself. The design of Japanese word of the day is far better than this english one. This one doesn‘t provide any readout of the related sentences but only the vocab of the day. It limits the effectiveness of learning as only reading makes them hard to be memorized for long time.

Besides, the game section always retrieves words I have not yet learned. The problem is that it doesn‘t give the explanation to help understanding the words. Thus, the game section doesn’t achieve what it is intended to do. It only makes me guessing the words without learning it.

As the purchase price for free of ads is low, you can insert one more purchasing option which is more helpful in learning by adding readout of sample sentenses and also word game with explanation hints.
