遠足時，可先啟動程式的「遠足留蹤」功能及電話的衛星定位系統，程式會自動記錄使用者位置。如發生意外，搜救人員可按記錄搜尋。程式附有連結至「郊野樂行」網站，用戶可搜尋香港郊野公園的山徑、路線及特色景點。

By activating the “Hiker Tracking Service” and GPS of the mobile phone before your hiking trip, the system will record your tracking location which could be retrieved to shorten the rescue time if the need arises. The mobile application also links to the “Enjoy Hiking” website, for users to search for different hiking trails, hiking routes and attractions across the country parks.

Why? Just why?

I don’t understand. Why? Just why???
Why can’t the good old things stay when adding new features? The new stuff is great, but they aren’t mutually exclusive, are they?

Just reading the reviews is an interesting event for me, for a good laugh! Typical majority of HK civil servants, between know something and don’t know much! Most likely, like everything else in Government tenders, awarded a contract to an app developer that on their proposal complied to all their requirements with probably the cheapest price

New version is total fail

Old version was so good. I kept promoting it everywhere. It was really dated, especially graphic wise, but very functional. All main hiking maps were there - main 4 trails plus dozen of country and natural trails. I have been using it regularly. The new version seems totally useless. You can track yourself, maps gone. Really, what a shame, HK Gov.
