Wat kinda plane is this...

Okay, the game is okay but what kinda aircraft is it? IL-86 or 96. The controls are terrible. This is the only free flight simulator game on the Mac app store, so congrats other than X-plane or Infinite flight. More realistic aircraft, if you have 7 aircraft selection in F-18 carrier landing then add 7new on here.

I unfortunately don’t recccomend this game especially I am a passenger airliner aviation enthusiast

This game is horrible. 1st, it is only 0.05% realistic. The way the rudder reacts isn’t even close to the real thing!
2nd, when your throttle is in idle, in the virtual cockpit view, it is 100% silent just like if the engine is off!
3rd, there is no proper autopilot for this Airbus A340. Instead of having heading, vert. speed, altitude and speed, it is one button that holds everything so it is impossible to to an autoland. When you activate the autopilot, you fly strait with 0 control.
Another thing is that in the missions, the first officer (co-pilot) keeps talking about this aircraft as an old aircraft and make it sound unreliable. In real life, an Airbus A340 is a very reliable yet futuristic computers and fly-by wires. By the looks of the aircraft and the way the controls are layed out, I am 100% sure this is trying to represent an Airbus A340.
One last thing is the layout. You put the landing gear, thrust lever and speed brakes but not the flaps in the controls mode which is BIZZARE.
This game really dissapointed me.
Also, there is no “free flight”. You must buy that. Even if we have a limited scenery, they should give us a free flight for free.
Dissapointingly, I don’t reccomend this game. Seriously, go play F18 Carrier Landing II, it is a FANTASTIC game by the same developer.

Dear Rortos, please take my review in account and make a better free version of this game. Surprise me like you did with F18 Carrier Landing II. I played F18 Carrier landing (first version) desperately hoping for an update. When F18 carrier landing II came out, i downloaded it and it really satisfied me and it was FANTASTIC. Especially the fact that the arresting cables get caught and actually move. That really cheered me up!
I want you to do the same with “Extreme Landings”. I am really looking forward for Extreme Landings II. I want to see it! I know you can do it!
