Cannot receive and send SMS

I had a travel SIM card have stored value in it, and it need to send a SMS to activate.
I need a phone to activate the SIM first, in order to use it

Hi there ! Sorry for the inconvenience. Please kindly be noted that to use your physical travel card, it needs to be activated on your mobile phone first. Please contact the operator from whom you purchased the card for more information on how to activate it. Alternatively, we recommend purchasing our data plans through GlocalMe, which do not require activation and can be used immediately upon purchase. Cable problem.

I have to commend Lucas for all the help given when travelling in Europe recently. I found my Glocalme was charging very slowly and Lucas responded immediately and conducted a remote test which confirmed it was a cable problem. Once identified i swopped cables and charging normally resumed. Professional, experienced, rapid and helpful response from Lucas was much appreciated and in addition i was credited with a global 7 day plan. Exceptional service and much appreciated. Heather

Updated service offerings are poor

When I first purchased the G2, the service was very good and WIFI speeds were very competitive with mobile WIFI. However, now with every update the service quality gets worse and worse. Speeds are horrible. The only saving grace for this device is that wherever I travel (all over the world), I have WiFi. I often think about trying something different, but I am concerned about loosing the assurance of having WiFi.
