It is a great app that helps to store live photos. I have backed up all the photos, videos and live photos of my dog on google photos after he has passed away just around a month ago, watching him moving in the live photos (now being shown in the app in the format of videos) on the app everyday is like looking at him in the real life.
I have just one minor suggestion. Pls shorten the time needed to load the live photos and videos. It usually take at least half to one minute to get them loaded, even the network signal is strong.
Nice app
After you backup the photos and you want to deleted the photos on your phone that is deleted, you do not have to go into the phone's photo app and choose which to delete. You just have to press a button and delete them in the google photos app.
You can also search the date to find the photo if you forget where did you take the photo.
If anyone talks about the download problem, the app is not created for you to download photos but upload and backup them, so leave the problem.
Great storage and some helpful tools
I find google photos super easy to use. It takes care of the drudgery aspect of managing photos for you. I don’t keep most of the ‘stylised’ photos it offers me but the occasional one or two are worthwhile and I’d rather have them than not. I also really appreciate the storage capacity and being able to access photos across a range of devices. I definitely happy with it.
