5 stars if I can buy a book straight from the app
I enjoy using this app and the selection of books available for free preview. I just wish it would be possible to purchase a book straight from the app. Please add this feature. I'm certain that book sales would increase significantly with this feature.
So inconvenient and lots of bugs
I made a lot of notes in the book and sometimes when I read the book, all the notes just vanished, no matter how many times I tried to re-open the book or the app, it’s in vain.
Plus, when I try to highlight the sentence, words that are beside them will also clustered in the highlight. Or when I accidentally highlight unnecessary words in the sentences, those words will just highlight itself again when I delete it.
I have to reload the app again and again til I finally got the highlighted sentence right.
I want to give a suggestion that it would be more user-friendly if the book we read last time appear immediately without scrolling the library again when we open the app next time.
The Most Convenient App for Chinese books
Some bookstores use Paypal which is a kind of annoyance. When you want to download a book right away, you need to input your passwords... while using Google's Play books, you don't have to enter your password every time you purchase a book.
Will Google produce their own e-readers like Amazon's Kindle? Time will tell.
