I write this as a physics student who has to write tons of equations on a daily basis. The infinite canvas allows me to write equations all over the place and see the overall picture to form ideas from a higher abstraction level. This cannot be done on some of the similar apps where the canvas can only be pulled up or down but not sideways. This feature reignites my interest in mathematics in general as suddenly your thinking is laid bare before you and you can watch your thoughts reorganize the refined before your eyes as you develop your notes.

Customer support is fantastic: questions are answer within a day or two with graphic illustrations attached. The app is consistently maintained and optimized.

Price wise this is a no brainer. You can own all the pro features by one time payment instead of subscription. I am grateful for this business decision and I am doing what I can to promote this product for them by writing a positive and detailed review.

The only drawback for me is that the canvas feels laggy if you write too much. I get around this problem by splitting the content into multiple notes. In the future I hope this issue can be solved so I can have one epic gigantic canvas containing all my knowledge in mathematics and physics.

Regarding the limited amount of data on a single whiteboard, since the iPad is a tablet device with limited running memory, when the handwritten data of a single whiteboard exceeds 20MB, the rendering pressure is high, and problems such as lag may occur. That's why we've given Pro members an unlimited number of whiteboards to create.
You can use the whiteboard wormhole to nest the mother whiteboard and multiple sub-whiteboards, for example, use a certain subject as the mother whiteboard, and insert multiple sub-whiteboards to organize the knowledge points under the subject.
In future releases, we'll add more concepts about whiteboard hierarchies to make it easier to create multi-level whiteboards and organize and use fragmented information in a more structured way.

When I was choosing similar free notes writing app, I discovered this gem because I really love the pen style and the versatile functions in the canvas which are very user friendly for gathering information on a mood board. I was using Apple Freeform however the responsiveness was quite disappointing especially when loads of pen strokes were created. And I found that lots of apps don't seem to care the aesthetic of the pen, which I found very important in working with a canvas! Pretty stuff make you work happy! I genuinely hope this app would be able to keep its maintenance. I hope more people know this!
