Hackney’s Virtual School App provides young people with information where they need and
when they need it, keeping them better connected with the opportunities that are available to
them.
The app will keep young people updated with key dates, events, news, surveys in which they can participate, and photos of past trips they have attended.
Staying safe online isn’t easy and that’s why it’s so important to learn about the dangers of social media, gaming and the internet. Luckily, we have created the Hackney Virtual Schools App to help keep young people safe by teaching them about the risks of being online, as well as where to find more support if they need it. There are even short, fun quizzes to test their knowledge.
The Hackney Virtual Schools App covers lots of different topics such as bullying, healthy relationships, image sharing, how to create strong passwords, age restrictions for games and much more. You can also find tips on using the most popular social media apps safely like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat.
