Unfriendly & poorly designed user interface

Whoever designed the app user interface must have little or no sense on what is user friendliness is. Compared to other media streaming apps, this app is very poorly designed. Why on earth do the user need to re-enter the password to watch after every single episode of the same movie series?

I can understand that the user needs to declare that he is of adult age to watch certain movies. But once he has done this the first time, surely the app stores his login status for the same session and should not require him to re-login again each time for each new episode?

If he should exit the app and return later to resume watching, then by all means force a login but then allow him to continue watching all subsequent episodes or seasons without further unnecessary interruptions!

The worst APP you can imagine

If there’s an option to choose ZERO star I’ll definitely go for that.
This is 2019 and HBO is expecting your user to use a play for series without being able to resume from where you last saw. I keep forgetting until which episode I have kept up with.
Obviously it’s not user friendly enough to explore your library. I don’t know idea what all the series and movie that are available.
The downloading function is a joke. When you are disconnected from the internet you just can not play what have been downloaded as the APP requires you to log in first. Excuse me? What’s the point to download?
The connection with Chromcast is not stable at all. Whenever it’s disconnected and you will just have to disconnect and reconnect and manually find where you were disconnected as it’s simply not resuming. Such pain using this APP. Will definitely cancel my subscription after the finale of Game of Throne.

Can’t watch videos

So, like many people I imagine, I signed up to HBO Go for three months to watch GOT. The App is a little clunky when watching, but that I can live with. What I think isn’t ok though is that it won’t play some episodes when you want, I presume because too many people are watching at the same time. I’ve been trying to watch episode 4 for the last hour and it keeps saying there is an error and to please try again later. Seriously, HBO Go, winter IS COMING if you don’t fix this pronto.
