It’s quite good
I’ve been playing the game for approximately 3 months and I have been opening packs, 109 in exact and I’ve opened 8 legendaries although this required some money most of it was through daily quests which are easy to achieve.
The only problem is that to improve further you have to have a better deck and that requires great amount of luck or money which can discourage you to keep playing
Overall it’s a great game
Not mobile friendly
For the longest time, the game icon on my iPhone screen wasn’t even in full resolution... it was blurred. This is just the smallest issue. The game disconnects a number of times for no reason. I’ve upgraded my data plan and make sure to only play using my unlimited 5G data. The game will suddenly quit and any achievements or progress made will be lost despite the fact that I’ve done nothing other than play. The game will lag severely during any beta game mode. (i.e; Duels, Battlegrounds) I’ve also tried changing my Blizzard Battle-tag recently for the first time ever and it said I was allowed one free change. Upon changing it, it reverted to my old Battle-tag and asked me to pay to change my battle-tag DESPITE the fact it said I was allowed one free change. I’ve enjoyed Hearthstone for many years but since Ben Broades’ departure, I feel that Hearthstone has not received as much love as the other Blizzard games. I still enjoy Hearthstone, but the accumulated small issues are really making me feel as if it’s perhaps not worth my time to play on mobile and lessen play time or perhaps to stop playing altogether. I hope that this is seen by Blizzard and that maybe something can be done. The battle-tag thing is a big one for me because I was promised something and it wasn’t delivered. 2 stars because the game is still fun, it’s just not up to the quality it used to be held at. Amazing if you put time (and money) into it
Make no mistake this is not a free to play game! You will need to spend money on packs of cards (which are random so you have no guarantee what you are getting) to build any descent competitive decks. It also takes time to learn how to play different types of heroes and decks and the ever changing meta (the game introduces new sets and rotates old ones every 4 months to keep things interesting on top of frequent patches to balance the gameplay)but after some time and a descent card collection you will definitely get hooked and will be playing daily. Overall great game, community and support by blizzard
