The App aims at helping students of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) to access both academic and non-academic resources provided by the University anytime anywhere. By using your iPhone or iPad, you can access following information easily:
- Latest News or announcement;
- Display electronic copy of student ID card (student e-Card);
- View your academic information;
- Update your contact and emergency contact;
- Browse / search courses catalog;
- Browse / search class schedule and quota;
- View your own class timetable on weekly calendar;
- View your own exam schedule;
- View your courses’ grades, TGA, and CGA
- Book sport facilities or event rooms
- Access non-academic services provided by Dean of Students’ Office

Not user-friendly enough as USThing
In USThing we only need to log in once. But this app requires us to log in every single time.
Plus this app is super slow. It takes a while to load the page. And whenever I wanna see something else in this app, it kinda takes forever, it’s very slow. And sometimes I even need to log in again. This is something USThing won’t require you.
Lastly, I can’t load the class timetable for no reason. I stayed at the timetable page for minutes, it just keeps being blank. This is so annoying.
In conclusion I think the functions of this app deserves a 2 star, cuz it kinda includes everything you’ll need.
However, this app is not really ready to publish and use. Just my personal experience. It’s so slow, and you need to log in several times if you wanna do different things.

Biometric log-in doesn’t work
As the title said, the biometric log-in (using the touch ID) doesn’t work. When I re-open the app, it says my session has expired and I need to re login again. After logging it, it ask if I should enable biometric log-in, which I already did last time
