Excellent Rewards Program

Very honestly, we have few cards but ever since we have started using HSBC cards, we have stopped using all the rest. The reasons are many; but important few are: 1. rewards are nice 2. the process of claiming rewards is equally easy 3. the frequency of claiming rewards is flexible, depending upon our convenience 4. the cash rewards conversion is most convenient anytime to be adjusted against card debit balance etc to name…. out of many! Really love you HSBC!

I am not sure about the usage though. If I make a credit charge, will I be right away going to offset the charge from my reward cash? How much reward cash do we have anyway, then can help reduce the bill? If I want to offset I will do it before paying my statement but not doing it per charge anyway! HSBC should give out a lot of reward cash for some of the buying patterns, and should ask us to make use of the app to promote using those RCs like cash!

I believe I have the reward point expired in last 1-2 years as I thought it was automatically converted to cash reward and credit it in my credit card account, but seems not and I have not redeem it. I suggest you to notify me one month in advanced before expiry date.For this expired point, if any, can I get it back to my account ?

In 2023, the cash rewards are much less than 2022 and 2021. Moreover, it’s not easy to reserve the buy-one-get-one free dinning for premier credit card holders. In addition, it is quiet inconvenient that we could only reserve the offer through the app. It is much convenient that if we could reserve a table through restaurants.
